Health(ier) Halloween Candy

HALLOWEEN CANDY

IT’S ALMOST HALLOWEEN and it’s going to look a little different this year... I’m not sure we’ll be dressing up this year, but who knows, maybe we’ll throw something together just for a laugh.

In LA it’s not advised to trick or treat, but I’ve been seeing some super creative ideas (i.e. a guy creating a 6 foot tube down his porch LOL, small goodie bags at the end of a driveway, drive throughs…)

Regardless of whether you’re buying candy to give out (or use that as an excuse to buy some and then devour on your own - no shame there) I thought I’d share with you my list of health(ier) versions of some of our original favorites!

I generally try and get treats that have no high fructose corn syrup, artificial coloring or preservatives. If they’re Organic and/or Non-GMO, that’s a plus! Extra plus for fair-trade and dairy free (for my tummy). And, of course, the most important - STILL YUMMY.

A candy is still a candy. Enjoy in moderation. Savor without the guilt.
