Embrace Your Uniqueness
Imagine…
Every flower was a red rose.
Every dog was a golden retriever.
Every color was blue.
Every tree was an oak.
Every human looked like Kylie Jenner.
Why is it that we embrace the beauty and uniqueness of other things, but not our bodies?
Whether it’s the clothes we wear (“fashion trends”), the lip filler, jaw shaving, nose shaping, eye pulling (I dunno), waist slimming, hip injecting, skin lightening, etc. Everyone is trying to look the same, and if we don’t fit a mold (because that’s what we’re becoming), we feel ashamed with how we look.
There IS beauty in diversity.
There IS beauty in being different.
There IS beauty in being unique.
There IS beauty in being yourself.
There IS beauty in being rare.
“The only difference between a flower and a weed is judgment.”
^^ JUDGEMENT. Check yourself the next time you look at another being and analyze their appearance. What beliefs are you holding onto? Where do they come from? Does that person deserve the positive and/or negative beliefs you hold towards them?
