Consistency is Key
“Consistency is to have the patience to water the roots, prune the branches in Winter before Spring. Consistency is knowing that a tree cannot be in bloom all year round, but loving the roots regardless.” Olivia Cummings
In fitness, people have adapted the “all or nothing” mindset.
Lose the illusion of perfection.
Find something you love doing and do it often. When you stop loving it, find something else.
Your routine doesn’t have to be perfect, or intense, or complicated, it just has to be consistent.
The best workout, is the one you’ll actually do.
I could tell you all the benefits of strength training and how good it is for you. It could be one of the “best” types of exercise for you, but if you aren’t into it right now, how often will you do it? Very little. How helpful is that for you? Not at all.
As a fitness professional I am aware that certain types of movement can be more “beneficial” than others depending on your goals, but I would much MUCH rather you do ANY sort of movement (safely of course) consistently than not do anything at all because you’re not motivated or having fun.
Find the fun in working out. Exercise is meant to make you feel good, not be a punishment.
Sustainable and consistent exercise and nutrition habits are the key to long term health and wellness.

I work with clients virtually all over the world helping those who are frustrated with dieting and want to change their relationship with food and themselves.
