Products of Capitalism

We are such a product of capitalism that we’ve replaced any real joy with accomplishments.

Think about it.

When is the last time your happiness or your joy wasn’t based on something you did?

Some task you accomplished.

Some goal you finally hit.

Some number on the scale you reached.

An article of clothing you fit into.

A specific number of times you did a certain thing.

This week try to experience the joy in things that just ARE:

A small moment with a loved one.

A glance in the mirror followed by a smile.

A nostalgic thought.

A grateful deep breath.

Commit to finding joy in what IS.
