Earthing (Grounding)

  • Standing barefoot in the grass.

  • Swimming in the ocean.

  • Being at the top of the mountain.

  • Walking through the forest.

  • Taking a nap outside.

Ever wonder why these things feel so good?

There’s actually scientific reasoning behind it.

To put it simply, you’re re-connecting the body to the earth’s surface to re-charge.

To put it more scientific items, “Emerging scientific research supports the concept that the Earth's electrons induce multiple physiological changes of clinical significance, including reduced pain, better sleep, a shift from sympathetic to parasympathetic tone in the autonomic nervous system, and a blood-thinning effect.”

The Earth is the “battery” for all planetary life.

In the world we live in now, we’ve disconnected ourselves from nature. We no longer sleep on the floor. We wear shoes whenever we go. The ground is covered by asphalt. We’re indoors most hours of the day. We drive everywhere. We hide from the rain. Most of us don’t grow up with a lot of nice parks and forests anywhere nearby.

Standing barefoot in a garden, park or beach for 30 min can help us feel…

  • Centered

  • Balanced

  • Stronger

  • Less Tense

  • Less Stressed

  • Lower Cortisol Levels

  • Reduce Inflammation

Try it this week.
