Build Your Own Home Gym
If you’re looking to buy some equipment to enhance your at home workouts, this guide is for you! It’s budget friendly, so you won’t break the bank, but the items aren’t so cheap that you’ll break the equipment (lol). I added links to each photo, but feel free to purchase any other variation of the piece listed if you’d like to spend a little more, or a little less.
Items are listed in order, based on what I recommend purchasing first vs. items I think can wait.
Yoga | Stretching | Mobility | Massage
Reduce muscle soreness. Improve mobility. Increase flexibility. These are some of my favorite tools I use for recovery.
Level I
If you currently don’t have equipment at home and you’re looking to start adding some resistance to your body weight workouts, this is where I’d start. All of these items are great because you can also easily travel with them meaning you can workout from anywhere. If you do have equipment at home, all these of these can be incorporated into your routine for extra resistance, balance, and muscular activation.
Level II
If you have all the equipment from up above and you’re ready to take your workout to the next level, here are a few things I would recommend getting next. Some of these require a little bit more space.
Level III
These items aren’t essential, but they’re “nice to have” if you have the space. They all add a different level of difficulty and can challenge you in a completely different way.
