Benefits of Hydrating

I’m going to keep this one to the point:

  • It is commonly recommended to drink 8x8oz (64oz) of water a day. However, experiment to see what works best for you as this differs depending on age, weight, physical activity, diet, environment, etc… See “hydration chart” below.

  • Dehydration can cause your energy levels to go down and brain function to decrease.

  • Dehydration can impair mood and concentration and increased the frequency of headaches.

  • Dehydration can negatively affect physical performance, leading to reduced endurance.

  • An increase in water intake can reduce body weight by increasing your metabolism.

  • An increase in water intake can help with constipation.

  • An increase in water intake can decrease the risk of kidney stones.

  • Losing as little as 2% of your body's water content can significantly impair physical performance.

Bottom Line: Stay hydrated friends! It's one of the easiest tips I can give you!
