Unlocking the Secret to Emotional Eating Freedom

You've been led to believe for too long that emotional eating (also called overeating) is your fault. It's your lack of willpower or discipline that keeps you feeling "out of control" around food. That the answer to your problems lies in restricting and dieting, but if you're here, it's because that hasn't worked for you. I'm here to help you understand, that it's actually not your fault, and the answer doesn't lie within a diet. You cannot solve an emotional problem, with a food "solution." You’re not overeating because you’re weak or worthless, you’re overeating because you’re attempting to stuff down emotion. Your problem isn’t with your body, it’s with the way you’re handling your thoughts, feelings, and needs.

I know what you want.

You want to stop overeating. You want to stop feeling frustrated and out of control. You wish you felt more comfortable around food. I know, because I’ve been there. I wanted the same things. This is why I can confidently say that the problem isn't your body. You’re not broken. Every time you over-eat your body is asking for help. The issue is that you don't know how to listen to your actual needs. When I learned to listen to what I was feeling, quiet my unkind mind, and understand what I was using food for, everything changed for me.

Here’s the truth, I can’t promise you you’ll stop overeating in 4 weeks. Everyone’s journey is different and everyone’s timeline is different. I’m not here to sugarcoat that for you. There’s no quick fix. What I can promise you is that this course is going to help you finally understand WHY you emotionally eat so you can learn HOW to stop.

You can either continue to deal with the feelings caused by your overeating and never heal or you can finally decide to deal with the feelings you’re overeating over so that you can finally be free.

Can you relate to this?

You feel like you eat to resolve everything. A pint of ice cream when you’re sad. A box of cookies when you’re bored. All the appetizers at a holiday party when you’re anxious. You’re always by the snack table at work and you constantly find yourself re-opening the refrigerator door at home. You’re hungry when you just ate an hour ago and you constantly look forward to your next meal.

You’ve lost confidence in yourself and your self-esteem is low. You feel broken. “What’s wrong with me?”

You blame this all on a lack of discipline. You’ve slowly lost trust in yourself and the only answer to your problems is to restrict or start another diet. But that’s not the answer, that’s actually making things worse. I know because that was me.

Imagine this…

Instead of reaching for food when you’re angry, sad, stressed, or bored, you know dozens of other things you can do in the moment that’ll make you feel better. Imagine not feeling frustrated or angry with yourself for overeating anymore. Imagine feeling more resilient in situations where you used to feel overwhelmed and lost. Imagine not depending on food anymore.

Her videos are quick and thorough and included deeply meaningful exercises that immediately shifted how I viewed my eating habits and, more importantly, the emotional weight I carry around because of them. By the end of the course, I had a new understanding of emotional eating and the tools I need to work on my triggers. I feel encouraged, empowered, grateful for my body, and more in control, without feeling the judgment or toxic positivity of other similar platforms."

Ready to Change Your Relationship with Food and Yourself? I’m Here To Help!

Hi! I’m Azul Corajoria, a Health Coach and Personal Trainer helping people improve their relationship with food, fitness, and themselves.

It wasn’t long ago that I was where you are now. I went from dieting, counting calories, and over-eating, anxious and miserable in my body to loving, caring, appreciating, and using food and fitness to take care of my body - becoming the happiest and healthiest I've ever been - and why I made it my mission to help others do the same. I struggled with emotional eating for a long time and it wasn’t until I did the deep work that I realized I was dealing with it all wrong - and that most people are doing the same.

So, I took everything I learned about emotional eating and made it into a course so I could help you fix your relationship with food quicker than I did!

What’s Inside

  • Pulling the curtain back to discover what about your past has caused you to emotionally eat. What have you been taught about emotions, nutrition, and yourself that have left you feeling unsatisfied, confused, and vulnerable to diet culture b.s?

  • This is where you'll learn how to work through your emotional eating triggers and implement new emotional coping strategies.

    1) Introduce a pause between thought (emotion) and reaction (eating).

    2) Identify hunger and make the distinction between hunger and emotions.

    3) Identify your emotional and situational triggers.

    4) Learn different ways to emotionally cope depending on your situation.

  • Get ready to start putting this work into practice! I'll leave you with some tips and reminders that'll help you on your new journey to ending emotional eating and living free of guilt and shame.

Step 1: Pause

“Between stimulus and response, there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response.” - Viktor E. Frankl

Step 2: Hunger Awareness

Your physiology is designed to keep you alive. If you’re hungry, no coping strategy is going to help you. So, we want to take hunger out of the equation entirely by understanding what hunger looks like for you and why you might always be legitimately hungry.

Step 3: Identifying Triggers

Increase your emotional awareness so you can confidently label what you’re feeling and what is triggering your emotions.

Step 4: Develop Alternate Coping Strategies

Develop alternate coping strategies that will help you in times you’ve been emotionally triggered and want to eat, but have identified that food is not the most helpful tool for you right now.
